Sold! 1968 396 RS/SS Camaro. This car was factory built as an original RS/SS 396 car. The motor installed in this camaro is not original to the car. However, it is a 1969 396 motor that is very tight with plenty of power. This car was restored to correct factory specs, with a complete new hounds-tooth deluxe interior. seats, door panels, carpet, headliner and vinyl top are all replaced as new. The floor under the carpet is insulated with dynamat insulation to cut down on inside head and noise. this car was taken 100% apart and repainted with its original color. The paint is a very nice base coat /clear coat iroquois green metallic. The under carriage was painted satin black on a rotisserie. this car is a completely fresh restoration with less then 100 miles on it. motor is fresh rebuilt, rebuilt turbo hydromatic 400 transmission. A 3:73 posi-traction in a gm 12 bolt housing. new exhaust system, with transverse mounted muffler in original location. This Camaro has has power windows, steering and brakes. all front suspension components powder coated. Front and readend suspension was all rebuilt with brand new components including but not limited to, tie rod endss, ball joints, bushings, leaf spring bushings etc. this camaro also has the rally sport hideaway headlights. New front and rear glass, with the original astro ventilation side glass. The radiator, gas tank, all fuel and brake lines are replaced new. All of the trim was either re-polished/restored or purchased new. All wiring harnesses are replaced new, including the power window and the main under-dash harness.
