COPO 1969 427 4-speed Camaro Dexter Chevrolet

Description:

Detroit is the Motor City and thats where this Muscle car originated from. The selling dealer was Dexter Chevrolet. As seen on the cover of May 2008 issue of Car Craft magazine. Offered for sale with only 9575 miles on this original 2 owner car. The paint on this 427 COPO is still all original. What a fabulous surviving COPO with original dated 14" Rally wheels and 3 broadcast sheets to document its authenticity. Also have copy of original title. Original warranty booklet with original Protect-O-Plate. Matching number MN #512 motor with matching #840 cylinder heads, #163 mint Intake. Original Muncie transmission & #3128 Hurst shifter body, chrome handle and hi impact BE 4:10 Rear End. Spiral shocks (fronts) are still under the BB subframe. Original silver grille, bumpers and rear spoiler are all still there. in fact the front spoiler hardware is still mostly there. All original body panels will clean up very nice. Correct 5-Leaf rear springs, "Flat bottom" Cowl induction air cleaner base and remaining complete flapper system are all there. The interior is all original including dash pad and carpet. 7K Tachometer and clock are still in the car. However, the gauges are gone from the console. This is an original gauge car, there just missing. Somebody installed gauges into the dash above the glove box. Other parts That are included are a correct dated curve neck "OO" radiator w/tag, #772 dated fan, Dated restored smog system complete, #814 starter, dated original #499 distributor, Dated #837 alternator, #621 Bellhousing, BB lockout linkage, BB shifter linkage, #309 master cylinder, #9204 booster and all other brake components. Correct #733 flywheel, BB #113 & #114 motor mounts, correct harmonic balancer, #6223 crank, #824 & #291 pullys #4346 dated Holley carburetor and also have a old style yellow tipped oil dip stick. This car is offered for sale with complete 95pt C2C restoration and includes freshing up all major powetrain parts and includes all parts needed to complete a turn key restoration to match the original chassis & body broadcast sheets.
