Originally purchased in 1969 by R. Jackson from V. Cooke Chevrolet of Louisville KY. Back in 1969 this L-89 Aluminum head 396/375 HP option was the highest performance RPO (regular production order) package offered through any Chevrolet sales brochure. The raw power of this L-89 engine was transferred to the pavement through a Muncie M21 4-speed and GM 12-bolt axle housing with the 3:08 ratio positraction rearend gear. The exterior color option selected for this Camaro was the very desirable Dusk Blue with SS white D/90 stripping. The interior of this car was built with the optional Black Custom Deluxe Interior. It received a rosewood dash panel with grab bar and rosewood steering wheel. Also the early 6000/7000RPM tachometer and console gauge package were equipped on this Camaro from the factory. This SuperSport was also equipped with the optional RPO N/66 sport wheels an option only offered a short time during the 1969 model year. .
