1969 RS/Z28 - 1822 Miles, Unrestored

Description:

This 1969 Z28/RS is one of the finest most original unrestored first generation camaros on the planet! The documented actual mileage of this Z is 1822 miles. It is an absolutely time capsule for a factory stock camaro. This particular Z28 sets the standard for any restoration work that is done at Coast 2 Coast Camaro parts and Restorations. Having access to this camaro gives Coast 2 Coast an advantage to restoring camaros over any other restoration shop. From the stand point of restoration this camaro used as a reference tool clearly gives us the most accurate representation with an attention to factory details and technical correctness over any restoration reference guide or shop manual.

The Tuxedo Black paint on this Z28 is very rare, black paint was considered taboo back during the late 1960's, and the production numbers reflect it. Today this 1969 RallySport with the silver grille is an extremely desirable combination and sought after by many muscle car collectors. Ordering the code 10 Tuxedo Black exterior was the only way to get a silver painted grille on a RallySport camaro back in 1969. This particular Camaro has the special paint code documented on the body trim tag, it was painted without the Z28 mandatory racing stripes. This original Z28 Camaro is very special considering there is no other Camaro like it anywhere, with a production run of 1 out of only 1 1969 Camaro ever produced this way by General Motors Corporation. Other options this car was produced with is the Muncie rockcrusher M22 transmission, Black Custom Deluxe interior with rosewood dash and rosewood steering wheel.

To help anyone factor and respect the mileage amount on this Camaro. Figure you just purchased a brand new Camaro Z28 today, if they were still available. It would only take about 35 to 50 different trips around town to exceed 1822 miles. Figure less than one month for an average adult driver. Lets even take this one step further. Now figure driving 1822 miles at 60 MPH, that would take about 30 hours. This type of statistical analysis identifies that this Z28 could have been driven for less than 50 hours in the last 34 years.

This Z28 Camaro has all its original components and parts still in place from the factory. Including the very hard to find original parts like the molded rubber trunk mat, molded hood insulation, Delco eye side post battery cables, Firestone Sport car 200 tires, 4-clip style 15 X 7 trim rings, encapuslated rubber motor mounts, Alternator belt, Delco spiral shocks, reverse lockout rod, red positraction fluid tag, and front windshield. This Z28 Camaro still has its original factory 2-1/4 inch exhaust system in place and a NOS Y77 side post Delco battery. This Camaro is quickly becoming priceless, as it could never be replaced. For what it is and from the stand point of its perfectly maintained factory condition and its originality.
