This is one of the many other Camaros restored by Richard Maksym of Coast 2 Coast Camaro Parts and Restorations. This example shown here is a 1967 L-78 396/375 HP engine SuperSport Convertible, with rare Royal Plum exterior paint, white convertible top and black standard interior. This motor option was the most powerful high performance engine available from the factory in 1967 for any Camaro. Coupled together with its rag top option and exterior paint codes this makes for a very rare desirable collectible Camaro. This is now our company Parade car, we like to use this big block convertible for little trips around town and parading down the famous Woodward Avenue strip. We retired this car from show competition back in 1997 and by driving it a bit the restoration is starting to show its age. However this is still considered a low scoring number one condition Camaro. There were a few technical incorrect items on this Camaro, added to this car was spoilers, Hurst shifter and 15 inch wheels and tires back in 1989 when the body work was completed. Actually only 602 Camaros, all with the Z28 high performance package received 15 inch wheels in 1967 . Spoilers weren't even offered or available for the 1967 model year, they weren't introduced until the 1968 model year. Muncie shifters were equipped from the factory through the 1968 model year.
